With my love for travelling, I have always researched the internet for better deals on flights, accommodation, car hire, excursions to literally any destination in the world.
Doing this created a lot of pleasure and the envy of my friends and family. They would always phone me up to get information on travel arrangements. This gave me the idea of setting up websites: http://www.johannesburg-flight.com and http://www.4travel2uk.com. Most of my relatives and friends are abroad and hoping to cash in on better deals, but here I am coming back to my "Title"-Is the Internet really fair?
A few of my friends are coming over to the UK and Europe to watch the rugby world cup in France. So I was on the Internet in the UK and they were online in South Africa and we were surfing our way together by phone and pc on the same sites. They still didn't believe the prices I was getting, on the same sites and pages, as they were seeing different prices on their side of the world! I had to email my page before they believed me .Then one friend came out with a
strange story.
He had a client, a travel agent, for who he had to install a top of the range telecommunication system, who told him that he actually had an office in London, and that it was only possible to get good travel deals via this London office for his South African clients as the deals were regionally blocked! He commuted frequently between Cape Town and London as it was worth his while!
I always thought that if I were to type in :
http://www.Johannesburg-flight.com anywhere in the world and followed the links, it would be the same page showing. Surely I have mistaken myself!!!
